Mr. Womack has recently obtained favorable resolutions resulting in large recoveries for clients in cases involving disability discrimination and wrongful termination of employment under contracts based on foreign and U.S. law, and through arbitrations and mediation of securities fraud claims. He also obtained a jury verdict for a client in a matter involving the breakup of a business partnership and claims by the partner for breach of fiduciary duty, fraud and breach of contract.

Educational Background And Experience

Mr. Womack graduated from the University of Texas with highest honors and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa (B.A., 1978). In 1982, Mr. Womack graduated from the University of Texas School of Law. He was Senior Articles Editor of the Texas International Law Journal in 1981 and 1982 and was a member of the Legal Research Board. He authored “Mere Intent To Violate Criminal Statute,” Texas International Law Journal, 1981. While in law school, he received the American Jurisprudence Award for the highest grade in legal research.

He has practiced law in Washington, D.C., and in Houston, Texas. While practicing in Houston, Mr. Womack served as a panel chairman of the State Bar of Texas District 4H-I Grievance Committee. He has earned the AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell, a reflection of both his legal prowess and his professional ethics as an attorney.
